The smooth tapered shape helps guide the tool through an established piercing, while the connecting pin keeps a compatible threadless post aligned as it follows into position.
Crafted from durable 316L surgical steel, the taper measures 30mm long and is available in 20 gauge (0.8mm), 18 gauge (1.0mm) or 16 gauge (1.2mm). Sold individually and designed for compatible threadless piercing posts. Always choose the same gauge as your jewellery, use only with established piercings and never force the taper through resistance or pain. This tool is designed to assist with jewellery insertion and is not intended to create or stretch a piercing.
How To Use
Designed to help guide compatible threadless jewellery through an established piercing.
Select the taper that matches the gauge of your threadless post and existing piercing.
Gently insert the tapered end through your established piercing using slow, even pressure.
Slide the open end of your compatible threadless post onto the small connecting pin at the end of the taper.
Carefully continue guiding the taper through until the threadless post follows smoothly into the piercing.
Remove the taper from the post, then insert your compatible threadless decorative top and press it securely into place.
Important: This taper is designed to help insert compatible threadless jewellery into an existing, established piercing. Never force the taper through resistance or pain.
