💎 The Detail

Designed primarily for a healed tongue piercing, this straight barbell combines a polished silver-toned titanium bar with colourful acrylic balls containing a sparkling glitter finish. Both ends coordinate for a balanced look from every angle.

The bar measures 16mm between the ball ends and has a thickness of 14G (1.6mm). This is a commonly worn tongue-bar size, although the correct fit will depend on your anatomy. It may also suit some healed nipple piercings where a 16mm bar has been professionally recommended.

This barbell is externally threaded, meaning the screw threads are positioned on the bar and pass through the piercing during insertion and removal. For this reason, and because the decorative ends are acrylic, this piece is recommended for fully healed piercings only.

Avoid biting or chewing the acrylic ends, and check them regularly for cracks, scratches or looseness. Keep the jewellery away from alcohol-based products, boiling water and harsh chemicals. Discontinue wear if either ball becomes damaged.
